Purchaser

• Responsibility within a global commodity for product related material (PRM) for the different CLAAS plants (Hungary and abroad).
• Support the development of the global commodity strategy and is responsible for the sub-commodity strategy.
• Coordination and control of all product-related strategic purchasing activities.
• Cross functional collaboration.
• Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract, including drafting of development and framework supply contracts.
• Supporting the achievement of C-Q-D (Cost-Quality-Delivery) goals in development projects through the early integration of high-performance suppliers.
• Follow up and steering of supplier performance. 
• Observation and analysis of the global procurement market and the derivation of potential as well as cost reduction measures in collaboration with the internal company interfaces.

• Completed studies, preferably in the field of business administration/industrial engineering/mechanical engineering.
• First years of professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as in depth knowledge of contract law.
• Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity. 
• Comprehensive experience in negotiations.
• Very good entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working.
• Act confidently at internal and external management levels.
• Experience in working together in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills.
• Confident use of MS Office and SAP.
• Strong willingness to travel.

The Hungarian plant is located in Törökszentmiklós, and has been part of the CLAAS group since 1997 and by today has become the competence center of cutterbars and trailers.
