Operations manager - with logistics focus (LV)

Location: Budapest (hybrid, with 1 day/week HO)

Package: competitive salary + yearly bonus + company car

TASKS:

  • Establish, implement, maintain and continuously improve industrial operations on site;
  • Lead operations PRODUCTION-PLANNING-INVENTORY-LOGISTICS-CUSTOMER SERVICE to assure smart process proceeding;
  • Responsible for optimizing inventory value, KPIs definion and implementation of Supply Chain area and service rate achievements;
  • Forecasts on logistics, warehouse, customer service operations;
  • Inventory value optimization;
  • Keep an accurate record of the process and analysing performance;
  • Establish and operate in strong collaboration with managers, group stakeholders and internal-external customers;
  • Plan and implement continuous improvement action plan in Supply Chain area;
  • Ensure and implement revision in export-import management;
  • Oversee product lifecycle at the company;
  • Manage projects at the assigned area;
  • Lead and supervise the Supply Chain team, with direct reports of team leaders and ensure smooth operations processing, customer-oriented communication, deliveries and taking part and assure in first level quality complaint management in the assigned area;
  • Responsible for compiling reports;
  • Apply people- and change management at the team;
  • Maintain and create processes according to the quality requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Management, Logistics or Supply Chain;
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant work experience in multinational environment, worldwide logistics network (Operations Manager, Operatív vezető, Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager, Customer Service Manager, International Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, Production, Trade) preferably in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Logistics Service Provider, Plastics, Electronics or Food sector;
  • Experience in understanding connected processes in Supply Chain area;
  • Experience in highly regulated business (Pharma);
  • Fluent ENGLISH (and native Hungarian) language skills;
  • Strong leadership skills, people leader, team developer (10-20 FTE's);
  • Hard-worker, can do attitude;
  • Customer and service oriented attitude, excellent communication skills;
  • Experience in ERP systems (implementation);
  • Aiming for high standards;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility in CHANGE MANAGEMENT;
