    About the Role

    We are looking for a Junior Cost Controller to support accurate expense planning, monitoring, and reporting processes across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with Controllers, the P&A department, Accounting, and other Finance stakeholders, contributing to reliable financial data and well-informed business decisions.

    This position is ideal for someone at the beginning of their controlling or finance career who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support detailed expense planning in line with financial guidelines and submit plans for controller review
    • Monitor monthly closing and Business Plan timelines, follow up with controllers to ensure timely submissions
    • Perform version control and data sanity checks in the system
    • Track Business Plan submission status and manage cost center changes in relevant systems
    • Coordinate regional and intercompany cost allocations and collect related charges
    • Prepare cost-related reports for internal stakeholders
    • Process manual journal entries (corrections, charges, accruals) in financial systems
    • Create and submit invoices in SAP
    • Maintain and update financial master data (VAT rates, FTE uploads, budget transfers)
    • Handle ad hoc cost-related requests and serve as a contact point for expense inquiries

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    • Basic understanding of financial planning, reporting, and cost control processes
    • Proficiency in English
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Prior experience in cost controlling, finance support, or financial analysis is an advantage, but not a must
