JAVA DEVELOPER

About the Role:
Our Partner's mission is to improve the lives of thousands of patients through innovative transplantation diagnostic solutions. This purpose inspires everything they do.
As a Java Developer, you will contribute to the development of a gene analysis software used to support transplant procedures. The application analyzes one of the most complex regions of the human genome, playing a vital role in successful transplantation diagnostics.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the following: Standalone Java application, CI/CD tools, Bioinformatics tools, Data visualization, Performance critical algorithms
  • Ownership of specific software components and managing their life cycle.
  • Supporting the development team in algorithm research and development
  • Adhere to quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Secondary education
  • At least 5 years of Java development experience
  • Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
  • Agile mindset
  • Experience with Spring Boot and SQL
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

Advantages:

  • Knowledge of genetics or biology
  • Familiarity with NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) analysis software
