Head of Finance

• Operational Leadership: Lead and work alongside a small team, taking full hands-on ownership of accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations, accounting, local tax returns, and annual audits in accordance with Hungarian GAAP and IFRS.

• Group Reporting & Performance: Prepare monthly management reviews, supervise production cost and pricing analyses, and oversee routine group and statutory reporting.

• Strategic Project Finance: Serve as the financial lead for a large-scale EPC capital investment project, coordinating contractor agreements, managing intercompany financing drawdowns, and overseeing state grant compliance and drawdowns.

• Treasury & Systems Development: Manage liquidity, review daily treasury operations, collaborate with external advisors on tax strategies, and drive digital process efficiencies across internal management systems.

Elvárások:

• Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of leadership and hands-on experience in Accounting and/or Controlling.

• Technical Expertise & Languages: Strong knowledge of Hungarian tax regulations and accounting standards, native/fluent Hungarian alongside high-level English proficiency, and experience leveraging AI applications in professional daily workflows.
