E-commerce Leader

Decathlon Hungary is looking for an E-commerce Leader to drive the next phase of our digital growth and innovation. Fueled by thriving 1P & 3P operations, we proudly stand among Hungary's top 15 e-commerce players and lead the market in Omnichannel retail. As we celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2025, we face rising competition and shifting customer expectations—creating an exciting opportunity for a customer-centric transformation. Your mission will ensure the growth of our digital channels by managing our 1P and 3P activity. You will create the synergy between 1P & 3P by completing the offer with top brands from the sport market. Leading the e-commerce acceleration program you will connect digital marketing & supply & CRM & stores. Task:

  • E-commerce Strategy Development: Participate in the development of digital strategy and be primarily responsible for its implementation. Develop strategies for sustainable and profitable growth on decathlon.hu to become the leading player in the Hungarian digital sports market. Satisfying our digital sports users at a high level through all our available channels throughout the user journey.
  • Marketplace: Responsible for the development of the Marketplace business model, the team, and the partner network, keeping in mind the company's goals and values. Completing our offer with 3P products to attract more customers.
  • Customer-Centric Growth: Enhance customer experience across all channels, prioritizing customer needs to drive acquisition and retention through powerful commercial initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Set and monitor e-commerce KPIs aligned with national goals, using market insights, sales data, and customer feedback to continuously refine digital strategies.
  • Innovation: Leverage innovative digital solutions for our customers, stores and other teams.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and inspire a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results-driven excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other Business Units, especially Marketing, commercial and retail teams, to streamline efforts and ensure effective execution of national strategies.

  • Commercial Spirit: Strong ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive solutions with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.
